In Manatee County, because high school students get out around 2:15, elementary school students get out around 3:15 and middle school students get out around 4:15, our schedule is something like this:
2:30-3:30: Concentrated time supporting high school students with homework and schoolwork
3:30-5:00: Concentrated time supporting elementary school students with homework and schoolwork*
4:30-5:00: Brain break for students who are done; snacks; welcome middle schoolers
5:00-6:00: Concentrated time supporting middle school students with homework and schoolwork*
*high school students can stay the whole time to earn service hours
*elementary students who do not have middle school siblings need to be picked up by 5:30pm at the latest
